Southmoore High School, a state of the art high school that serves the students of south Oklahoma City and Moore,  opened in August of 2008.  Establishing new traditions that focus on the Five A's of excellence (academics, activities, athletics, attitude, and the arts) is a Southmoore commitment.  We are guided by our core value of "Respect Yourself and Others in All You Do".

 

Southmoore High School is a 6A school accredited by the North Central Association, the Oklahoma State Department of Education, and the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association.

 

Southmoore places a strong emphasis on Academics.  College-bound students may take advantage of several Pre-AP/AP (Advanced Placement) classes to earn college credit while still in high school while others may participate in classes through a partnership with Moore-Norman Technology Center.  Accredited classes are also provided for students with mild/moderate or severe/profound exceptional needs.
