The Southmoore FCCLA chapter will once again earn the OK Gold Chapter of Excellence Award. This was accomplished by earning 40 points or more during the school year for being an active chapter and participating in countless events. We will accept this award at the OK FCCLA State Convention in April.

Southmoore had 9 competitors. Two of these competitors made it all the way to Nationals!
Chapter Award
Southmoore earned the OK Gold Chapter of Excellence Award (formally known as the Star Chapter Award) due to earning 40 or more points through out the school year. We accepted this award at the State Convention in April.
2021-2022 Awards

Chapter Award
Southmoore earned the OK Silver Star Chapter Award due to earning 30 or more points through out the school year. We accepted this award at the State Convention in March.
Southmoore earned the Oklahoma 10 to Win Membership Campaign Recognition for increasing our membership by 10 members. We accepted this award at the State Convention in April.
Southmoore also earned the National FCCLA Go for the Red Chapter Award for increasing out chapter membership by 10 members.
Southmoore had 7 competitors. Three of these competitors made it all the way to Nationals!
2020-2021 Awards

Despite Covid, Southmoore had 4 competitors. We even received 2nd in the nation for Chapter Website!
Chapter Awards
Southmoore earned the OK Bronze Star Chapter Award due to earning 20 or more points through out the school year. We accepted this award at the State Convention in April.

Yet again, Southmoore has earned the OK Gold Star Chapter Award this year. We earned this by earning 40 or more points throughout the school year. The more active the chapter is the more points you receive. We accepted this award at the State Convention in April.

Adviser Awards
Mrs. Johnson was awarded the FCCLA Master Adviser Award. She was recognized at the Oklahoma FCCLA State Convention in April 2014 and at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in July 2014.

OK FCCLA Connection Magazine Contest
The magazine held a contest asking chapters to submit a photo for the cover of the January issue. The photo had to be a still shot of members doing the mannequin challenge. Southmoore participated and won! The photo and video can be seen on our gallery page.
