Membership
When the school opened in 2008, we started with a brand new chapter and have been active ever since. If you are interested in joining, please download the application below. The application provides information on the benefits of joining FCCLA. Once you have it filled out, bring it to Mrs. Johnson's or Mrs. Wigg's classroom along with the $15 dues. Also, download the guidelines below for information regarding graduation stoles/cords, eligibility, and dress code.

Signs about FCCLA are hung up around the school.

Meeting announcements are made during morning announcements, which the school hears during 1st hour each day.

FCCLA is promoted on the Southmoore Facebook page.

FCCLA is promoted through the SHS FCCLA Instagram page ran by our public relations officer.

Our officers are tasked with recruiting members.
Retention

When school starts each year, we send a Remind text to the previous years members, inviting them to join again. We also send them information on when the first meeting will be.

We try to make each monthly meeting fun by doing some sort of fun activity so that members will continue to come.

Some students are unable to come to after school meetings, so we have a morning make up meeting the following day after our regular meeting.
Recognition

Anytime, students compete in Star Events, their accomplishments are posted on Moore Public School's Facebook page as well as Southmoore's Facebook page.

At some of our meetings, we have competitions, such as pumpkin painting in October. The winners of these small competitions are rewarded with a small prize.

Each month we recognize a member of the month. These members are given a coupon(s) for free food at local restaurants.

The SHS FCCLA chapter is recognized at the OK State Convention for earning the Chapter of Excellence Award.
